這幾個月因為大小事不斷，忙得不可開交，一直想寫這篇文章已經很久了，看過前篇（Duluth, Split Rock Lighthouse, and Lake Superior請點此）的人一定知道，我實在很喜歡去見蘇老大，只可惜今年在葉子轉紅時，還是沒機會親身體驗，不過今年夏天倒是跟好姊妹們共組了兩天一夜遊，這真是我繼大學畢業後，第一次沒有男性在旁邊瞎攪和，純粹的姊姊妹妹知性交心之旅，真是太令人感動啦！

Woman愛旅行 @ Lake Superior！

因為是我第二次造訪Lake Superior了，有了上次的經驗，早早就開始規劃行程，也感謝姊妹們的支持，願意照我這個半吊子導遊的行程來遊歷，於是Kate，Ruby，跟我在Sheila司機的帶領之下，浩浩蕩蕩地向北朝聖蘇老大囉！

兩天一夜建議行程

由於這是Kate第一次來到MN，所以希望盡可能再最短時間內讓Kate可以看到Lake Superior的著名景點，因此我草擬了Lake Superior兩日遊行程，亦可提供給第一次來Lake Superior的遊客們當作參考。

第一天

SET A

11:35 AM             Arrive Duluth Downtown and have lunch at Duluth.  Restaurant: Taste of Saigon (394 S Lake Ave, Duluth)

12:45 PM             Finish lunch and leave for Split Rock Lighthouse

02:00 PM             ¹Arrive Split Rock Lighthouse

03:15 PM             Leave for Tettegouche State Park

03:30 PM             Arrive Tettegouche State Park

06:00 PM             ²Leave for dinner

06:30 PM             Dinner at Betty’s Pie (1633 Highway 61, Two Harbors, MN 55616)

08:00 PM             ³Leave for hotel

09:00 PM             ⁴Check-in at Comfort Inn West – Duluth (3900 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55807)

1.The lighthouse will close at 6 pm. If we decide to hike at Tettegouche State Park, probably need to visit the lighthouse first.
2.I roughly leave 2.5-hr stay at Tettegouche State Park if we decide to hike; otherwise, the stay can be shortened.
3.Betty’s Pie is close to Two Harbors’ downtown. We can also stay at Downtown Two Harbors a while for sightseeing before sunset.
4.Comfort Inn West-Duluth is very close to Duluth downtown (8-10 mins drive) but the hotel fee is much cheaper than those in the Downtown area.  The most important thing is Comfort Inn West-Duluth provide very good complementary breakfast buffet.

SET B

11:35 AM             Arrive Duluth Downtown and have lunch at Duluth.  Restaurant: Taste of Saigon (394 S Lake Ave, Duluth)

12:45 PM             Finish lunch and leave for Split Rock Lighthouse

02:00 PM             Arrive Split Rock Lighthouse

03:20 PM             Leave for Gooseberry Falls State Park

03:30 PM             Arrive Gooseberry Falls State Park

05:30 PM             ⁵Leave for Two Harbors

05:45 PM             Sightseeing at Two Harbors

06:30 PM             Dinner at Betty’s Pie (1633 Highway 61, Two Harbors, MN 55616)

08:00 PM             Leave for hotel

09:00 PM             Check-in at Comfort Inn West – Duluth (3900 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55807)

10:00 AM             Check-out and Leave for Canal Park

10:15 AM             Sightseeing at Canal Park Area: The Lake Walk, Ariel Lift Bridge, Marine Museum, The old Gleensheen Mansion, etc.

12:30 PM             ¹Lunch at Grandma's Saloon & Grill (522 S Lake Ave, Duluth)

01:50 PM             ²Leave for sweet home

1.The Original Saloon & Grill opened on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN, in 1976. Grandma’s staff prides itself on providing the kind of personalized, friendly service passed down from the Italian immigrant who started it all – Grandma Rosa Brochi. Her commitment to exceeding guests’ expectations lives on.
2.We can continue for the site-seeing if not rush for home. Depends on the driver.

SET B

08:30 AM             Breakfast at hotel

09:00 AM             Check-out and Leave for Canal Park

09:15 AM             Sightseeing at Canal Park Area: The Lake Walk, Ariel Lift Bridge, Marine Museum, The old Gleensheen Mansion, etc.

10:15 AM             ³Boarding for Sightseeing Cruise

12:30 PM             ⁴Lunch at Grandma's Saloon & Grill (522 S Lake Ave, Duluth)

01:30 PM             Continue the site-seeing at Canal Park Area

03:00 PM             Leave for sweet home

3.The Sightseeing Cruise starts from 10:30 am. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure, 2 Hour Cruise.

Tettegoche State Park@Silver Bay

這是我第一次造訪的State Park，同樣地，我們很幸運，今天不收入園費，於是四人換上了健走鞋，開始我到MN後真正的hiking初體驗。我們在回程中還有點小迷路，想想也很有趣，四個人擔心天黑更容易找不到出路，腳步頓時快了起來，幸好最後總算走回正途，經驗值告訴我：「以後爬山真得帶上指南針，以備不時之需」。
